I am taking a poetry course in modern american poetry, and this has, thus far (halfway through the semester), remained my favorite. I have chosen this poem to recite in class later in the semester. I am going to download the mp3 so I can burn it to a CD and practice while driving in my car.

One of mine too. The cadences are so graceful. I also like "The Man with the Blue Guitar", based on Picasso's "The Old Guitarist" which even sounds like a guitar.
