@hoopsmaster13 wtf are you talking about ok yes Violas do get pretty pathetic parts in songs but they are still very unnecessary to make an orchestra sound whole
-
@free2write26 definitely not :D although i think its a joke but... no just no... :D i love violas.. :D
-
@joshviolinviola yes, i'm agree but there isn't good violist on my town, even on my country, so i never heard a good violist live-playing
-
@joshviolinviola Ya...as is the violin, cello, and the bass.
-
Oh man, I miss playing the viola solo at the beginning of the Intermezzo. Best part ever...on the best instrument ever, of course :D
-
Violas FTW - without them an orchestra sounds quite hollow.
-
Violas + Cellos = FTW!
Bass players are also badasses, especially when they play the exact cello part, like in Mozart`s requiem.

Die beste Stelle is immer noch 6:17

Bravo, mon dear Holst!

@VorpalSword9 The only people who actually hate violas are CELLOS, because violas take all their solos.

I think everyone here will agree that the viola is essential to any orchestra. I think it is people who have a bad experience with the viola, that give it a bad reputation, If you listen to any decent viola player you would be surprised at how beautiful it is.

I play the violin and I love the tone of the viola way more, so I dunno what people are talking about, talking down on it.
