Very fun, but you stole my idea! I had the same setup, but I bet mine would spank yours! Mine is 1/4th the weight of yours with a custom balsa wood frame and no ugly shroud. What was your time? Mine was 1.7075s on a 40' track (I think??), which is 289 mph, whatever that means???
Are you in Utah, by chance?
Obviously, I don't think you stole my idea, the hobby shop guy showed me the same ducted fan motor. I do like the outlaw title better, we just called it open class.

when i was in cub scouts i made a pinewood derby car and it had racing strips and i put 4 letter words called "ford" on the back and it won everytime i forgot where i put it now though :)

The little blue "Box" is a speed controller. Many have asked for further details - I'm working on posting more info at Funtelligent. Give me a couple of weeks and I should have it up.
