Kramer's impressive display of simultaneous drinking and smoking required two takes to get right. After the first attempt, Michael Richards let out a loud and unscripted belch that necessitated a second try at the scene.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus's (Eliane Benes) commentary about being in complete and absolute awe of Michael Richards seems totally fake and disingenuous. She was probably sick (and a little jealous, of course, since he won more awards than all of the other actors combined for that show) of hearing about another great thing that Michael Richards did with the Kramer character.
