Jason picked our topic this week: Every year we can be very broad with what we are thankful for during Thanksgiving. This year be very specific and tell us what you are really thankful for; whether LGBT or anything else. (Bonus: Give us one of your favorite Thanksgiving memories.)
Hey Jim, I love your videos. I live in clt so when you say it is raining there I know that I am going to be in it next. I also live in the south and I understand how religion can make family gatherings hectic. I have always found in my family that they are so southern that they just want to get along and feed everyone on the holidays.
Great video Jim. I'm glad you had a nice Thanksgiving. And that your family was so welcoming. As much as I love my family, as a black american and VERY religious family, I know that they would not, for the MOST part, be welcoming of my partner...if I had one.
I LOVED this video, Jim. Your stories were so wonderful and I especially liked hearing that NO ONE would have a problem with you and Brent at the Thanksgiving celebration. That was awesome. It's all about the food and the love. Hugs~T
Awww...I love the tale of your Thanksgiving adventures with your Sis! Good thing the both of you had a sense of humor about the whole thing. I'm so grateful for this collab and Youtube as well. Happy Turkey Day! *BIG HUG*
@CountryComesToTown I am so happy to hear you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!! Actually, it's been quite balmy and sunny during the day, around 50 or so. At night it goes down to about 30-24, but that's ok! And NO snow yet..almost unheard of. I am really happy with the weather so far this fall!
@tommy30507 Hey Ronnie. Thanks so much for watching. I'm really looking forward to seeing you, Sherron, and Dianna later today! This YouTube thing has made for great friendships and I'm thankful for having met each and every one of you. :) Jim
@4tEmerson James, I'm so happy that the channel has been a help to you. Without this group inspiring me, I would never have come out of the closet. It's scary but I'm in a much better place for having done so. We survived Thanksgiving and everyone behaved, as promised. lol I hope that you find all the happiness you are looking for. Hugs! Jim
@PaintedRavensong Mic, I had to record that video about ten times because I kept breaking down, as I talked about my cousin saying that Brent was part of our family now. She was very kind and gracious to him and the day went very well. I love you as well and thank you for all that you have done to help me and so many others! I hope that you and Kirsten are having a nice holiday weekend together. Hugs! Jim
