A side-by-side comparison between the Springfield XD Subcompact and the Glock 27 Subcompact, both .40 caliber pistols. I get more comfortable and am able to shoot the XD Subcompact a little better each time I bring it out; however, you can probably guess which gun I still favor.
Thiings I like about the XD Subcompact: Grip feels good, sights are fine, seems reliable, breaks down easily, and seems accurate.
Things I do not like about the XD Subcompact: size of frame and slide, difficulty in loading magazines by hand, trigger, and lower grip on gun as relates to the bore axis.

On the Glock, I really dislike the hump on the grip, but I can find fault with nothing else on this gun, other than it's needing some add-on grips to get a great hold on it.

  • @MikeDiesel67, Your comment was about two thousands comments ago, so I don't recall what it was, but if it's "typical," of what's happening to you, then maybe you're being a jerk and need to spend time elsewhere.

  • @TWillyahoo Why are you talking about "steel" and "substantial" feel? These guns are subcompacts designed for concealed carry, they're supposed to be smaller, so that should factor into the equation. If you really were in the Marines, you wouldn't be discounting the fact that hickock "only shoots targets" because you'd know that hickock shoots better than 99% of the Corps in terms of pure pistol marksmanship. You're either a civilian/phony or worse, a POG loser.

  • nice review love your vids....was wondering if you could do a review of the smith and wesson sigma 9ve.

  • Not a bad shot at all.

  • @gspringer1 With those dimensions I'd just carry a Desert Eagle .50 as my concealed carry...

  • Great vid wild Bill i been trying to figure what sc to get since I like my xd40 4" I will get the xdsc9 for my conceal carry

  • He keeps saying "it's bigger then it needs to be". Is he the needs to be expert? Come on that small size difference may help with the recoil?

  • I like this guy, but jezzz sometimes he rambles on about nothing!! lol

  • @skywayghost929 Talon grips is what he uses, and they make it for the XD.

  • I'd worship you as a second god if you told me where to get that pefrectly fitted grip tape for my xd...

  • Perhaps a couple things to consider about the XD vs G27, the XD comes with a nice speed loader, better than the cheep Glock they give you. The XD it has been said, has a more comfortable grip or feel in the hand, note: this is others opinions I have seen around the net as I havn't even touched one. The XD is machined very nicely "clean" and has a metal trigger and mag release, also the polymer frame is thicker, making it a heavier gun, overall, "bigger and heavier". I will stick with the G 27.

  • @MostEpicMango yeah, just ask smith and wesson about copying glocks.
