  • @fishman017 well you could try and buy the cd, -_-

  • Anyone know where I can get a good mp3 of this? I was able to get a video and convert to mp3, but not with very good quality. He uses some massive bass in this song, and I would like to accurately transfer that to my ipod.

  • i've seen him twice and the contrast between each of his performances was pretty broad. he used a lot of different fills, especially on solea. the first time i saw him he wasn't nearly as good at his instrument as the 2nd time. he had a lot of sweet improv-ed fills. so i'm sorry but you either weren't able to pick up on these or it must have been before he was really good. oh and when i saw the 2 of them, people seemed to favor him OVER bucket. unbelievable, i know. bucket was kinda drawn out

  • This makes up for Buttmachine

  • He is the man enough said

  • You know...it seems as if that when he plays this opening song, you can almost feel the different places he's been to, and the stories behind it.

  • He's classically trained on bass

  • I'm actually wondering if he can play an upright bass. but even if he can't play an actual instrument, isn't it at least as cool to invent your own? I mean, everyone can master a guitar or a bass if you have a good teacher and are committed. but to create your own instrument, you must have technical knowledge, creativity and the ability to use the instrument in a way that people will like. That1Guy absolutely achieved that, so I think he should receive credit for that accomplishment.

  • Just saw em play in santa cruz. somehow, the bucket is even faster than he's ever been, and he killed it. that one guy's cool, he has two strings. you can only do so much with that, his sound is a lot of effects, envelope filters especially. take away his pedals and he's got nothing. give the bucket an acoustic guit-fiddle, and he'll make you cry

  • I just felt your original statement was unfounded. Unless you know both very well, you can't logically assert Buckethead should open for That 1 Guy. While That 1 Guy is extremely interesting and talented, he lacks the material to put on a lengthy show. Have you seen them live? Until you do, reserve judgement on this matter.
