Anyway, it is originally called 放射熱線.

The words "放射" means radioactive or nucleus. "熱線" means hot ray.

So, I think it make sense to call it nucleus ray.

@Cowmen10 Dude Godzilla's ray has as many names as there are spellings of Ghidorah and Anguirus! So really any of the names given to it are legit!
