"Tramp" is one of those words with more than one meaning.
"Tramp" meaning homeless is an older definition and no longer the most commonly used word to mean homeless.
"Tramp" also means to tread heavily with your feet.
"Tramp" in this circumstance refers to a woman who is sexually promiscuous.
