"Against the Odds" is the story of the 1991-1992 Stanley Cup Champion Pittsburgh Penguins. This was the Pens 2nd Cup victory in a row. The video includes the history of the club starting in 1967 and continuing up until the 1992 Stanley Cup celebration at Three Rivers Stadium.

Mario Lemieux once again won the Conn Smythe Trophy as MVP despite playing with a fractured wrist after Adam Graves' slash in Game 2 of the Patrick Division Finals.

The Penguins won 11 games in a row to clinch the cup victory. To clinch the Cup, the Pens beat the Blackhawks 6-5 in Game 4 at Chicago Stadium, in an old-fashion wide-open game.

  • @LetsGoRangers1994Cup You're telling me to take off my Penguins blinders when your handle is LetsGoRangers1994Cup? There's nothing to question about a broken wrist that was caused strictly due to a blatant Adam Graves' slash. It was dirty. Nearly every player does charity work for some cause (even the biggest goons like Ulf Samuelsson do it). This slash was pre-mediated by both Graves and Nielson. Just look at the video for crying out loud.

  • @LetsGoRangers1994Cup I know Lemieux really dove there...the slash broke his hand, regardless of which side you are on, you cannot argue that fact.

  • @Chortstuf Graves is the classiest guy the NHL has ever seen, and his charity work for children is unrivaled. So take off your Penguins blinders. P.S. Mario is the biggest faggot-diver in NHL history.

  • That's a helluva move Mario put on the goalie!! Shook that poor guy right off his skates!!!

  • at least they talk about the goalie, one of the most important individual thing a team needs to have any chance of winning even a single game

  • @Chortstuf He did get banned for 3 games.

  • Oh, the things the Rangers will do to win a game. And now that Graves is gone, they've got Sean Avery!

  • What a piece of shit Adam Graves is, I mean that's as blatant as it gets with that damn slash. Should've been banned from the playoffs. But then again I guess he didn't have much of a playoff run remaining after that game lol.
