This lessons focuses on the Contratiempo as a rhythmic tapping combination of sounds made the whole foot.

A contratiempo or counter-time or cross-rhythm accentuation is very typical in flamenco. It is important that the contratiempos or counter times touch exactly in the middle of two strokes. The rhythms are produced by stamps of the feet (gólpes de pies) in combination with palmas, by oneself or with others.
