Nas is currently working on his untitled Def Jam debut. The rapper is scheduled to record with DJ Premier, Will.I.Am, Salaam Remi, and others. Nas was initially slated to title the new set, N.I.G.G.A., but he has since decided against it. He explained, "A new record will be out this fall..... I got pulled back on that right now. I pulled back on that. I had one but I'm still working on the new title."

Last year Nas and Jay-Z ended their feud and Nas signed a four album deal with Def Jam Records. The first two albums under the new deal will be released in conjunction with Nas' former label Sony Records.

The rapper's last release was 2004's Street's Disciple.
