The nightmare sequence from Alberto De Martino's 1977 "Omen"-inspired biblical horror film, that actually has more in common with the 1981 "Omen" sequel "The Final Conflict". The plotline is still topical: An executive in charge of a Middle Eastern nuclear plant discovers that his son is the Anti Christ. Totally underrated little chiller with music by Enno Morricone. Stars Kirk Douglas, Simon Ward, Agostina Belli and Adolfo Celi. Aka "Holocaust 2000".

  • FYI

Anybody looking fot this film should be aware that it was shot in the 2.35:1 aspect ratio, and not the 1.85:1 aspect ratio being shown here. I also own this version and it totally sucks for someone wanting to see the whole image (the subtitles don't help either). As of now, there is no way to get this in it's intended aspect ratio.

    Just so you know.

  • Which is why it was posted in this format.

  • Back when I was little, this movie scared me to death-- I had nightmares that the "Devil" was coming to get me. I'm actually following a Wiccan path now, so I don't believe in the Devil anymore-- but I still enjoy these Biblical "Devil" movies. Good show.

  • Totally underrated and has one of the greatest deaths of all time with the Helicopter propellers taking that guys head half off. Also the sight of Kirk literally bashing some blokes head in is always funny.

  • I saw this movie for the first time when I was a child, and not much since. I remember being mesmerized and terrified at the same time by this scene. Now it's old and cheesy stuff I guess.

  • This piece is very creepy.

  • My mother's in this. The few moments with the banners. Her hand is holding one of the banner. This is the nearest she got to a screen role!

  • maybe the must scary scene that I've ever seen...

  • you can use The KMPlayer to play the movie, and that player let you to choose any aspect ratio, and to choose were to put the subtitles....

  • The music is extraordinary.

The song is "JESUS", from Ennio Morricone.

  • A nuclear powerplant that turns into a multiheaded monster, you don't see that happen

    everyday.
