Isle of Man Steam Railway engine number 13 (Kissack) pulls an extra wedding carriage at the front of the 13.50 from Douglas to Port Erin on Saturday 7 May. It is seen emarging from the Oakhill Bridge near port Soderick on the Old Castletown Road while the guests of the newly married Alison and Phil Hobson sip their champagne.

  • Hobson! Since when did the Groom change his surname? Despite painful pressure and subtle torture, my name will remain Phil Higham! We wanted everyone to wave, as you suggested, but due to the rain we couldn't identify exactly where we were along the track - or was that the champagne?! Everyone had a great day despite the weather, and I shall continue to be Alison Hobson (have been such for a long time), but with concessions to Hobson-Higham on Sundays! Thanks Murray for a great video!
