To think that the cockatoo could be gone in one bite from the dog... and the dog is gently taking noodles from the cockatoo while the cockatoo keeps the noodles coming is so lovely!!!

but if the dog is stealing the bird's noodle...

I mean.. the parrot could just stay beside the pot and eat slowly right? But it didn't. It took the noodle and went back the where the dog is every single time to share it with the dog. So the dog is not stealing :))

My parrots always fed my (dearly departed) dogs. They would take their veggies to the edges of their cage tops - especially the ones they didn't want - and drop them off to the dogs. The dogs would be patiently standing by the cages waiting... It was a big event every time the birds were fed their veggies... In fact if I was late feeding the veggies, my dogs would bark to remind me!

I agree with you. If the cockatoo didn't want the dog to get at the noodles, it could just have stayed out of reach of the dog, eating in peace by the pan at the back of the stove, couldn't it?
