This reviewer seems like a lovely human and I don't want to be a jerk about this. A lot of people come to YouTube for information, though, and it's not always correct.
As others have noted, the ERGO isn't intended as a front-facing carrier nor is it physiologically sound to use the front carry as it puts stress on baby's hips and spine.
Also, it's nothing like a pouch carrier which are not recommended particularly for younger babies who can't hold their heads up.
I've never had any problems fastening the buckle in the middle when wearing my baby up front, which was one of the many selling points of this carrier. I just put the straps over like a reverse backpack, reach up and fasten the buckle. I adjust my straps ahead of time.

#1: it's not a snap; it's a buckle.
#2: you can't do front facing out carry

Babies can't be worn facing out with the Ergo or the Ergo sport.
