C'est une renommée bien illusoire quand on sait à quel point cet orgue a été trafiqué et ce qu'il reste rééllement de Silbermann. Mozart ne reconnaitrait certainement pas l'orgue originel. D'ailleurs la dernière intervention par la maison Kern est appellée pudiquement "restauration / reconstruction". C'est tout dire.
