I live in South Tarawa, Kiribati. PLEASE, TO THE WORLD, believe us, SEE THE PICTURES, help us, some days ago, it was our brothers in Samoa, American Samoa and Tonga who suffered lose of lives, tomorrow, the sea will eat us, will wipe us off the map. We are human beings too, we are respected members of the UN, we don't hurt others, we don't wage wars. PLEASE HELP US.

Ask the Dutch to build some 15 m High solid dikes and to make Polders from the Lagoons. Peace of Cake. And water for irrigation sources can be won from the sea with a desaltination plant. Let the UN pay for this.

Start helping yourselves. Stop driving cars. Bicycles are your friend! Make wider bicycles to tug wagon cargo behind you. Really, at least help yourselves!

Why are so many people posting saying they should just move away? Its not that easy, where are an entire country full of people going to go? Who will take them? Its easy to say when the place your family has been for generations isn't threatened like in Kiribati. What happened to compassion?
