Actually it was a helicopter owned a buy a rental company not a brit helicopter which would have been way to suspect flying around Dublin.

when the original newsflash was broadcast about the escape , the announcer said the gardai have mounted roadblocks (laughs) roadblocks/helicopter !! only in Ireland .

@oliversinhell To be fair they'd have to land somewhere at sometime and you are much less conspicuous in a car than a helicopter.
