President Barack Obama, MT Gov. Brian Schweitzer, and Senators Max Baucus & Jon Tester at a Health Care Reform Town Hall Meeting in Belgrade Montana, August 14, 2009 at the Gallatin Field Airport (BZN).
I do not wish to host a political discussion on my channel, so comments & ratings will be disabled. I was merely a witness to an event, and these are MY favorite moments: ten minutes out of more than an hour of video (plus what I shot before & after the program).
It was a great event at which to be present. I have heard one other sitting US President speak: Ronald Reagan (#40), June 1983 on the South Lawn of the White House - part of that year's Presidential Scholars events. This airplane hangar in Belgrade, MT was just about as thrilling, and in some ways, even more so.
Please forgive the shaky camera. I was not near the stage, and a 5"-long hand-held camera at up to 37x-Zoom is tough to hold steady... especially when one is sitting in an uncomfortable folding chair and one's hand is cramping. Somewhere out there in 'Netland, I'll bet there's a professional version of the whole event; there was no shortage of press coverage.
In fact, here's the link to the subtitled version posted by YouTube.com/whitehouse:

It's one hour beginning with the President's speech.
