They should make a BloodRayne 3. But focus on the aspects of BR 1. The dark gloomy game is just perfect, it makes you want to finish it, unlike BR2. I loved playing this game, and I've finished it a couple of times. Very very good game.

@MsRayne bankruptcy. the owners of the franchise its self lost all their dough so theres likely to never be a 3rd. however some how Uwe Boll keeps poping out his worthless films.

Why bloodrayne 2 sucks so bad?
The first bloodrayne was a masterpiece... you were fighting with cool paranormal trained nazi, with cool monsters(spiders, daemites, mutant vampires)and in the next game you are fighting with stupid junkies, rock emo bices etc.and the gameplay is really retarded i have to use 7-8 combo skillz to kill a tramp with a crowbar when in the first game one good hit and i decapitate a nazi with A GUN!!

In all seriousness, Glad you appreciated BR1 so much. I liked the idea of smashing two different genres together w/ vampires/monsters and WWII.
I left before BR2 started proper, and like you said, they pursued some other directions (which some people prefer to BR1). It felt more like Blade w/ a chick lead to me.
But #2 did some good stuff we wanted for the first one but didn't have time to get working - like acrobatics and rail sliding.

I was the lead designer and one of the main character artists for BR1. This was going to be a short video before the start screen, but we ended up getting a full budget treatment from Blur Studios instead.
