  • NME = No Musical Experience. They're clueless bandwagon nobs who suck up to a few good bands and destroy others they don't like.

  • @Nick5379 Your either retarded or ignorant. If some Mexican kid was proud to identify himself with his Mexican culture and their struggles, advancements etc etc that is patriotism. If you were proud to be American, which eveyone should, then thats not racist either. Assuming that you are superior to another race that is not your own would be racist so yes you fucking moron if you ran around telling a proud Mexican that your "special" because your white yes...that is Racist. Read a book.

  • anyone notice how much whiter franks face is around his eyes compared to the wrest of his face...?

  • @XmindsatwarX I prefer to be proud of things i get by myself not by accident

  • I disagree. I think any racial, or national, pride is inherently racist and reactionary. :) whether it be white or mexican.

and I'm speaking AS a mexican.

  • Yess Frank. Fuck NME. Shittest magazine ever. all they care about are the Vaccines and all those indie wankers.

  • @Yenson233 Be proud of everything you are! I'm English with a right old mix in there. I don't fit anywhere so I fit in everywhere. Nothing wrong with pride it's just when people think other nations/races are lower than them. I look white so I get left alone but lots of my family came from other places, if most racists look back they are not as English as they claim to be. If you cross question a bigot you hear silly tribalism not conman sense.

  • I have 2 old friends who work at the nme and they realised instantly what arse-holes 75% of them are, the ones that try and do have taste and discover new music are generally cast aside until they discover someone and then the bigwigs take credit and milk it for all its worth. not good, but there are some people involved with nme who know what theyre on about.

  • NME will insult drum and bass music based on it's lyrics even if the important stuff (the drums and the bass) is great. They'll then praise Ellie Goulding for saying the words 'starry' and 'eyed' repeatedly. ¬¬

  • I read a page of an NME once, it said Motorhead were "boring these days", so it's the only page of NME I've read.

  • NME's first priority to be "indie" which basically means ignorant music-snobs who only care about image and bands who are most hyped rather than good bands.

  • @finalfantac or just listen to 'She Watch Channel Zero' by Public Enemy which has more interesting lyrics to me and my world view than Bring The Noise (they're both good, I just hate hearing the same tired example played over and over) - the riff is also better than Anthrax, possibly because it's Slayer's (their best riff ever, mind you). Oh, and FUCK the NME, I always hated them for being about TRENDS and shallow shit BEFORE being about the music. It sells, because most people are like that too
