Moon Cresta and what appears to be Jump Bug...damn...can't say I've seen those two since the 80s!
Hopefully will be going to a classic arcade expo at the end of November myself, whoo hoo!

i see. but why would you take it out? the other week. i had a dk party and it was a big event cause i was also going for the record score. i got into 7th place. my score was 677,900.

Ummmm no one wanted to play it? in australia the game wasnt that big. australians tend to love shooters like galaga and mooncresta. i have even sited donkey kongs and its a waste of time. i absolutely love the game myself but the general australian public would rather play other types of games.
each country can differ. its the same with tv shows they can be more popular in one country and not in another

your not looking! we did have a donkey kong machine.australian style! in australia we didnt have dedicated cabinets like the yanks. our cabinets were generic with pcb and mylar as it was cheaper for operators at the time. also most of the boards were falcon crazy kongs and not nintendo versions.

also it wasnt meant to be just an 80's night :)we had games from all eras there. donkey kong was in a table for this meet. previously it was in a large upright but no one played this game so it got decommissioned to a smaller machine sadly. this is a private residence and not an official arcade :)
