5. Other 'churches'(of sport, the free market, of labor) are okay, but The Religion of Secularism somehow goes too far. We believe that the state makes love possible, but that the state will fail unless we give it the love any state needs. Only with the state's protection can modern love flourish, but wrath against government grows. Meanwhile, everybody's semi-consciously practicing the American Civil Religion. The ROSe is tired of taking a back seat to "real" religions. No more sloppy seconds!
