This variation of a rock lick shows an easy way to create a variation. Splitting the double stops gives a chance to show dynamic change easier. While alternating between the two notes, I play louder, then softer drawing the listener in. Later in the chorus, where I had previously split the notes, I now play them simultaneously. Look for these easy ways to vary some of the licks you already know.
