@Ouija88 The grammar may not be hard, but the different tones and the length of the vowels (short vrs long) sure are a big challenge for learners of Thai.

Don't be like those farangs living for ten years in Bangkok and still not able to carry a basic conversation in Thai. They are basically walking the street with a huge glowing arrow on their head reading: Lazy Loser Here. lol, Imagine one Thai living in UK for 10 years and not being able to speak English. You'd prolly think is the dumbest idiot on the planet, yup that's the kind of respect you gain with Thai people. Now don't complain if someone treats you like an idiot over there, You are one!

Any guesses for what the first language is of the speaker in the video? I thought at first German, but I'm leaning towards a Scandinavian language..
