For some reason, maybe a glitch or something, if you are constantly pressing the sword button while holding UP/LEFT (the direction away from the edge), Moldorm's hits DONT KNOCK YOU OFF!!

BUT, you have to press the sword button constantly, if you stop for sec and he hits you, you will fall off.

I figured out a guaranteed way to beat him. You'll full hearts or close to it as you need to absorn some of his hits.

All you have to do is stand in the lower right corner and constantly press the sword button as fast as you can, while hold UP and LEFT together.

Then wait for him to come to you, and just keep swinging as fast as you can while holding the UP/LEFT buttons. He will squirm his tail around right into your sword, and in about 15-20 sec you will have hit him 5 or 6 times.

You need to stand at the edges of the square hole, 90 degrees from his current position, charged. He can't hit you because if he goes right for you, he will reflect back off the hole. When he spins, let it go close to him. If he comes out and around to you, move around another 90 degrees.

Weird, he didn't seem to go nuts and speed up after the second-to-last hit.
