  • That is what you call real music. No lip- syncing, no unwanted special effects justthe artist and the audience

  • i couldnt agree more, well said!

  • you met him? wow, i wanted to go see him here at my uni in plymouth a few months back but i couldnt find anyone to go with me and i didnt want to look like a pleb there on my own.

  • sure did, hes a really friendly guy too. he really seemed like he wanted to be there. unlucky about not getting to see him in plymouth. i would go on my own to see him though, his live performance is definitely worth looking like an idiot for a few hours!

  • One question: Why is the guitar so small?

  • not sure, probably sounds different. i don't know a huge lot about guitars. but it works for him and his music

  • RIP the crew of the Solomenn Browne, brothers to us all

  • @oclandestin It's a tenor guitar, 4 strings. He tunes it GDGD.

  • @NineStringJim yeah, seth has 2 1950s martin tenors, one is tuned gdgd not sure about the other

  • @oclandestin It is a tenor guitar

  • @NineStringJim ... Thanks for the expert answer : )

  • @oclandestin Hey dude. One of Seth's favourite instruments is his Martin tenor guitar, which I believe is an antique instrument. They have only four strings and are tuned differently and slightly higher, which combined with a smaller body and more select woods make for a very sweet sound. The gaelic lilt comes from the tuning, which is prized in Nashville for country tracks, but is also golden for British/Hibernian folk. His relentless riffing in the intro would be difficult on a normal guitar.

  • amazing

  • Perfectly said. A phenomenal song.

  • A rare talent...a moving and inspiring song.
