Had 714,000 Kudos when I dominated this game. Would never buy a Microsoft product as long as I live now though. This was a great system when it came out.

@SteveBenway Cool I just got one a couple of months ago an original crystal one, that had been soft modded been playing 'Halo 2' quite a lot, would highly recommend it. Just picked up 'Project Gotham Racing 2', a few weeks ago for less than £3.00 brand new on Amazon and today just picked up 'Project Gotham Racing 1' for under £2.00 - it's an amazing game. Used to own an XBox Elite this time last year, until it died, will pick up one sometime this year. Loving the videos by the way Steve : D.

this was the first racer i played with the analog triggers. 2 was also good. played 3 with the FF steering wheel, lot of fun. 4 i could not get into. the racing part was very wel done but the structure of the game and the menus really sucked.

This is the best version of PGR, honestly. It runs at rock solid 60fps. Sadly they dropped Xbox after 4 years and introduced that RRoD CRAP... I will never support a product that is so awfully designed... never ever. That's why I'm going to say that PGR series was finished with its 2nd installment, Forza with its 1st, Halo the same as PGR.

Halo and Project Gotham, thats not a bad start to your XBox collection.

Speaking of coincidences, I got Forza this afternoon.
PGR is definitely better on a visual level, but I think the gameplay and handling in Forza may be more up my street.

I find it gimmicky and artificial. Probably coz I'm more into racing simulations like Gran Turismo, than the more arcadey stuff like Burnout or Need For Speed.
