SuperScooper Water Pickup - Lake Sherwood

This is a video snippet of 2 Bombardier "SuperScooper" aircraft contracted to Los Angeles County fire. The were reloading water for attacks on the "Canyon Fire" in Malibu on October 21-25. This was a shot taken at Lake Sherwood near Thousand Oaks, CA. The planes are flying west to east on a run down the middle of the lake.

That's really tight work. They're threading between two hills and over powerlines on the approach, then dipping into the lake 200-300 feet from shore, since Sherwood is a rather small lake.
