Because drivers are stupid, dangerous and ignorant. They are more than happy to put their lives and other pasengers and other road users at risk and, plus they can't obey the law of safe and sensible driving. When you will people ever learn to drive normally, properly and safely, without sounding your horn and obey lane discipline?

Oh, Chennai is just waking up to the concept of Lane traffic. The slowest guy sticks to the right of the road which is the worst case scenario and we have the faster guys honking away to glory. Hope people learn road discipline soon. This road is going to be a 30 KM stretch.
