  • It was so wonderful to be there that night. John and Norma Major -remember them? - were just a few places to our right, and Diana was a bit farther along in the same row. When Pavarotti sang directly to Diana it was like witnessing a little piece of history: two great 80s/90s fugures never to be forgotten.
