if you love your ipod, why do you say it sucks. there is no pattern if only a few people have problems with their product. there was a pattern with the xbox 360: 90% fail rate equals 90% of xbox's breaking. a few people having the problem is called inconsistent. a shit load of people having a problem would be called a defective product (aka, every product microsoft makes).

first of all, yes if a few people who all have failing devices is without a doubt a pattern. you're thinking of a "sample" as defined in statistics. I never said it was an accurate sample of the entire consumer populous. I was pointing out the PATTERN
