i seriously don't understand why next to normal lost to billy elliot. don't get me wrong, billy elliot seems like a fun play to watch, but it's plot seems kinda cliche, while next to normal is very unique and original..well that's just my opinion..

Norbert's amazing, I agree.... but J. Robert owns this song. He's an amazing actor. This and "I've Been" are HIS songs. Sorry, Norb. I'd still fly across the country to see you in CMIYC and I loved Wicked and TLFY.

Bobby spencer is such a good singer. Next to Normal has such good music.

Next To Normal is so unique that many people don't know how to read it as a musical.
This song is PERFECT to show that the show is beautiful and sends powerful messages :)

@vickyc99 I've seen Billy Elliot and I can say, N2N is more deserving of Best Musical. However, Billy Elliot has powerful storytelling and direction itself with the silent scenes and character relationships.
