@Marshmallowbeast not at all, in the USA the Seat brand is not present, just VW. But as you might know SEAT has not as good as detailed interiors than VW (just more power but they need to sell something that you can feel not just 'accelerate'), I mean those cars are "cheaper".
@MaksimSF Here in Mexico, the new Jetta has a lot of downgrades like the rear suspention and drum brakes in the rear wheels... don't know in the US. I guess they make the GTi in Germany because is the best selling VW in Germany, so they don't have to import it. If you have those Golfs, then i apologize... those are excellent choises. The only Golf V and VI that sells here is the GTI, so we don't have many options. Also they still sells us the MKIV Jetta with a face lift. US market is better.
MKV Jetta is also made in Mexico. I am being "cheap American" had '08 MKV golf "Rabbit" and' '09 GTI that was also Imported from Germany, don't think that cool guys from south usd to make R32, it was also imported, my friend have a "Mexican" Jetta SE. I don't see much difference, but its gotta be a reason why they don't make GTI in Mexico.........
And honestly...they don't have more sales in Mexico over US, if you look at VIN of most Dodge/Chrysler cars its "3" not "1"
@MaksimSF It's because thay have more sells in Mexico than US... you americans keep loyalty to your crappy cars... and u criticise the Jetta MKVI "because is made in Mexico" when the truth is that VW launched the new Jetta thinking on the US market... you are used tu buy cheap cars. So that's why...
