@lafishguy I am making led lights for plants tanks even too, All people say it is not possible, but I succeeded totally! Better growth! Better looks! Better colours! Smaller bill! & Never change bulbs!

Dude! This "newness" that the LED is brought pros fatástica aquariums. You know the specifications of the LEDs used in this assembly? Kelvin temperature, power, these things ... Brazilian hugs for You!

hey B, they are 180 watts each. Kelvin/color temp can be adjusted but individually changing the dimming settings for each of the 3 colors of LEDs (white, blue, royal blue). check out reeftechledDOTcom

that seems like a big led light... there are smaller ones that have RGB LED's and color can be controlled...

hey I, i have not seem much change in corals, but what we have seen is a significant reduction is energy cost.
