Tutorial - Make a Batch File live multiuser chatroom (LAN/VPN)

NOTE:
This is a batch LAN CHATROOM not a MESSENGER.
there's already a shitload of messengers out there and tbh most of the time they don't work, especially between XP and 7/vista comps.
I made this so we could all chat together on the college computers. it works.

To be honest i'm a batch file noob, but I made a chatroom in VBS that did more or less the same thing and I wondered just how ghetto I could make it, because let's face it, you can't really go wrong with something as simple as a batch file so it'll work every time anytime :')

i was showing it on TWO computers. it works wherever two or more computers have access to the same folder (lets call it, say, a shared folder, just for the fuck of it) and have permission to edit one file.

please, consider the situation before making a dumbass of yourself.

im working on a online multiplayer game and this technology will give it a great boost. i would like you to join me and help me completet the online co-op section. i already have online multiplayer and offline campain under controle. i have theories that are looking good but there is no way i can finish the co-op by its realese date ( november 2012) . if this game is good enough me and you could acually make a profit

i hope it does, the first one i tried didnt work because :Tdrive (our student shared folder) was not hardwired to our cpu's, and that interfered with it somehow. hope this one doesn't.
