Victoria Toensing, who drafted the Intelligence Identities Protection Act of 1982, outed Valerie Plame as a non-covert CIA employee.
More, Valerie Plame says no one at CIA told her that she was 'covert' or that Robert Novak column had violated security; she also claims she didn't recommend Joseph Wilson for Niger trip...

Meanwhile, the British have never backed off the intellegence evaluation that Saddam was attempting to buy "Yellow Cake" and revive his nuclear program. The British know full well that SOME of the information they had was falsified but they have already discounted it. They have more then one source for this evaluation. And it was this British report which Bush had used as his source during the State Of The Union Address.
Since Toensing drafted the act that decides whether or not Plame was covert or not I would trust her more than the pig nosed democrat political hack. Somebody tell this man that the Leak Trial has been over for sometime now and there was no evidence of any crime even if Plame were covert and not a regular employee of the CIA like she really was. This is all for show. The trial ended and no evidence of a crime.

Excellent! Plame wasn't even able to say whether or not she was covert. Toensing certainly knows the truth!

I always had a strong suspicion that this Plame woman was in no position of secrecy. The actual leaker's not even in jail nor was he ever called to testify at the trial. This is all political. It's a shame that the party of JFK has stooped so low.
