  • thanks man u saved my life! i am really struggling with my logic design subj but its also my fault for being late as i am always too lazy to get up early in the morning....DARN...thanks man!:D

  • @Supermanu15 you are welcome! but be aware that in different courses they might use different terms and notations than me. For example:

    i say "A-negated" others might say "not A"

    and instead of writing a bar above A, they might write -A or ¬A or A'

    instead of AB or A*B they might write A∧B or A∪B

    instead of A + B they might write A ∩ B.

    It's looks like a mess, but as for engineers - they almost always use the same notation as me.

    Anyway, good luck with your studies!

  • @oakkathebest In boolean algebra, + does not refer to sum. Instead, + signifies an OR statement, meaning that if A OR B is 1, the solution is 1

  • I am confused. In Binary addition 1+1=10 in which sum=0 and carry=1. but here 1+1=1. So, sum=1 or 0? Could you explain? I may have wrong concept.

  • I think of it as 0=off, 1=on then you if create the rule on>off all the other rules fall come out nicely.
