Tillerson is an odious man. I detest his arrogance of power. He doesn't like mandates? He and his filthy fossil fuel counerparts are behind Boehner and House Leaders stall on continuing the tax credits for workers are being laid off all over cntry. They don't want "big wind" to have an uneven playing field." !! That's the arrogance of an industry that receives billions on subsidies. Lack of support for solar e.g. is one reason why Solyndra died, Chinese undercut due to subsidies.

It does matter were it comes from. We need clean energy even if it cost a dollar more.

Thats a nice talking point, but I think if you actually did some research and listed out the "subsidies" that the industry receives each year you would be much less confident in your assertion. Also, do some googling about the top corporate taxpayers in the US each year.

Yes, 12 day traffic jams in China, I think that's the figure, but it was shocking to hear. Now, acc to another news report, China is backing off, at least a bit, and people are going back to bicycles. One man said he feels better for one thing. If world want to emulate the post war boom in U.S. after WWII which lasted only about 20 yrs. Term "The American Dream" actually created by corp America to pump up consumption fm '40's on. You'd think it was imprinted on brains of Founding Fathers.

I was listening to NPR about 4 yrs ago, the Commonwealth Club of California I think. A woman stated that Tillerson REFUSED to make strong efforts to develop alternative enegy, DESPITE pleas even fm the Rockefeller family, incl David, last living patriarch. Of course, Exxon/Mobil being latest form of first Standard Oil, then ESSO, EXXON etc. At hearing after Gulf, other CEOs claimed investments fm $3 bill up to $7 bill in alternatives. Exxon? Tillerson said $500 mill, in algae.
