I was fortunate to get a cab ride in this very locomotive on a MNRR branch line. It isn't a bad engine at all from an operational POV.

dosent look that bad to me, I meen the colours are horid, and the way it sticks out at the back is kinda stupid, other than that it looks ok. It looks like a cheap imitation of an EMD. Its kinda like a cheap chinese imitation toy too, looks ok, but breaks after the first week. hahahah

the designers of this so called locomotive must have been drunk when they conceived this hunk of garbage

i 2nd that if there's anything that's ugly on the Mn line its the Freakin Railcars(or Red's as i like to call them) that have been runnin for too damn long
How long does it take to build a Locomotive? I know the one video shot on March 3, 2008 of #125. The ugliest locomotive Metro North has ever owned.

@MrWill1985
Depends on the production line and how it moves. For example, at any given time there are 20 locomotives in various states of completion on the erecting floor at G.E.'s plant in Erie, and they finish 2-4 units per day.
