the destiny gates are actually the older versions gates you see as the gates get more advanced. milkway gates inner ring move, while the destiny gates entire ring move. and pegasus just has lights that go around on the rings.

@Exportionist actually no, the ancients existed in another Galaxy (could be Ori home galaxy) and then they migrated to the Milky because of the Ori and then went to the Pegasus where they encounter the wraith and such

As far as I understand it, the Ancient originated in the Pegasus Galaxy. So it should go, Pegasus, Destiny, Milkyway, and then Pegasus again, because they probably re-made the Pegasus gates (pure speculation). But then again, they went to Earth after they had those style gates in Pegasus, so why don't the Milkyway Gates look like that? Hmm =/

If anyone knows what's wrong with what I just said, please tell me. Something is amiss.

@nhall87 do you mean it has no facility to charge the zpm's and not make them? I suppose you mean like an alternator charging a car battery right? As we don't see little places that make batteries in our cars lol
