  • *****do not pay attention to the way in which she is holding her hook...it is incorrect for a primitive hooked rug and will only lead to physical problems later.

    palm the hook...this is the best and safest way to properly execute a wide strip for hooking. the alice beatty book

    explains this perfectly.
