Personally I was kinda reluctant to do this song because the lyrics said "run for your life" and these two just arent that kind of person, but what the hell...

@drakeskyrim it came out after those it is part of the sellswords series which branches off the end of the Legend of Drizzt series. you should also know that afterr the first 13 Legend of Drizzt books 7 more books have come out about Drizzt

@drakeskyrim have you read road of the patriarch? if not dont make a judgement just yet. i can tell you right now id rather have lived as Drizzt than Entreri when they were children.

I like the duality between these two characters, the difference between them is mainly their past and how its affected them, If Drizzt had experienced Entreri's childhood he would have turned out the same.

@fordfan25 I would never say Jarlaxle is compassionate, he simply doesn't kill for sheer pleasure or simply for the sake of killing like most drow.
He really considers every option and impact every choice he makes. If he chooses to kill, it will benefit him and his group, otherwise he tends to stay out of sight. So while the joker is chaotic evil, I think Jarlaxle gravitates towards lawful or neutral. Hard to say with his actions.

@ICPjug90 i dont think thats right. joker is plain evil and batman is a good guy threw and threw. jarlaxle is far from pure evile. he is pragmatic and will kill ect when he has to. but he has been shown many times as having a sense of honor and compassion. he is not the uber good guy drizzt is but he does not inflict pain or death unless there is a good reason for it. those reasons are often dubious but he is hardly pure evil. the joker on the other hand will kill ect just for laughs.

dude Jarlaxle is to Drizzt as the Joker is to Batman. He's a very convincing villan with an interesting take on chaos and deception.
