Crowds moving around in open areas can be attractive targets for terrorism. Pacific Northwest National Laboratory is working with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, other agencies, and industry to protect people from explosives attacks at large public events. This video shows how an integrated technology system for explosives detection was tested with crowds arriving for hockey games at a stadium in Washington state in 2008.
