In 1994, several small-town ne'er-do-wells, made an attempt to subvert their local airwaves from a tiny public-access TV station buried in the depths of their local library. Thus, Chester's Chillers was born.
Chester was envisioned as an extremely low-budget version of classic television horror hosts like Zacherley, Ghoulardi, and Sinister Seymour. As you know, every horror host needs a foil, so we grabbed the most decrepit old baseball bat we could find, nailed two rubber balls onto it for eyes, and attached some floppy Godzilla arms we had lying around to create Chester's smartass sidekick, Woody.
The show shed its skin several times, and aired under various titles: Chester's Incredibly Strange Cartoons,Incredibly Strange Commercials, and Incredibly Strange Trailers. It lasted about a year, then everyone went their separate ways.
