Michelle Nettle, a board certified music therapist , working with a client who has a diagnosis of down syndrome. In this video Michelle is working on several music therapy goals with this client including speech and language skills( articulation of words), cognitive skills( counting and recognizing numbers), following directions, fine motor skills(using pincer grasp to pull off frogs/numbers), motor planning/coordination (finger coordination to form #'s 1 to 5 with right hand.)
