Float The Boats

Float the Boats! -- Vote everyday starting June 1st at http://www.refresheverything.com/ for our chance to receive a $50,000 grant from Pepsi Cola. We are build stronger youth in the community through boating safety education and the inherent challenges of sailing. We will purchase equipment to facilitate a mobile program of personal growth in middle and high school youth. This trailer of 6 sailboats, one safety boat and all supporting equipment can be towed to any community's small body of water. A trained staff of 3 instructing a class of 12 students can raise confidence, improve problem solving and peer communication skills to make stronger, more self-reliant youth in any community. The primary focus is to provide a challenging program conducive to personal growth. A secondary benefit is an introduction to boating safety around a sport to be shared with others for a lifetime. The program has already begun with rented, deficient boats. This young and successful program has participants begging for more. We need your help to make this program to grow and flourish along with our youth.
