Yea, but I was listening to Swans in '87 is what I meant. I believe that is when Children of God came out and was my first Swans album. I don't think he meant this exact album and just Swans music in general.

I never heard them in 87 but I was into equally hip bands like Van Der Graaf Generator and Soft Machine, so I don't feel bad ha ha. Love this band though.

only heard of them last year when i was looking for joy division covers.i'm 16 tho, so will never see them :( unless they reform, which Gira says they might, he's written some songs he said sounded like swans material.also i can play failure and youre not real girl on guitar ;)
