To Love (original poem)

Below the rocks and sand, I felt this strange vibration, it called my name, beckoning me from a distance. To my surprise it revealed to me the secrets of life. From every speck of sand, to every particle that surrounds us there is a force that unites us.
We use words to distinguish things in life, categorizing them in a neat little box with labels of good or bad, love or hate, black or white. I will ask you now, what is love?
You shuffle and squirm, not really knowing the answers, pretending to be the master of love, with a ring in a box, flowers in hand a box of chocolate and the look of a desperate man. A bottle filled with Viagra, romantic music on your IPod and a hand full of condoms, you really think you are awesome.
News Flash: Your love has conditions and it usually has something to do with a vision of getting laid in a romantic secret hide away. The love you have for your children, your parents and spouse, your friends and family is no different some how, the list get longer through out, do you hear me and know what I am talking about? Your love has a price, it comes with many strings attached, you throw the word around like a ball on a baseball field no doubt. A word youve learn to collect and spout, adding different tones through out.
To love is to be in tune and in harmony with your surroundings, being part of the grid, swimming helplessly with the vibes and tones of this world. Being electric, it has no words. Forgiveness, compassion, no ego to speak off its all passion. Love is the frequency we are after, and when you are there youll know it, for the race will end and you will never be alone again.
We all need love; it is the reason for us living. We chase it and look for it in all the wrong places. If we can only see that the love we need is in our hearts ready & willing to be given and received. Open you hearts and throw away the keys.
